The Great Quake: How the Biggest Earthquake in North America Changed Our Understanding of the Planet by Henry Fountain

 Yeah, the name is a bit of a mouthful. I got this book a while ago thinking it might come in handy as a bedtime book. You know what I mean. You can imagine my surprise when I ended up engrossed in it.

 

 

 

Mr.Fountain has done an impeccable job making a subject such as Geology easy for a novice like me to understand. Do read this book.
