Unlike his boss, the secretary is friendly, well-mannered, and considerate of other people. He is a single father, who is also good at parenting and housework.
This show has mature leads giving the swooniest performance. Their chemistry is amazing. I squeed my way through the show. This ones is for the girlies who love themselves the Single Dad Trope. Side note: I am so happy that they casted this actor as the male lead. I'd caught Second Lead.Syndrome from him and wanted more of his work in the romance department.

He seems indifferent and a bit selfish, while he also carries some secrets.
Okay, as a teen and in my early 20s I adored dating games. I don't play anymore but I still appreciate those moments. A girl needs to daydream every now and then. If I had access to a game like the one in the show, I might never interact with real people again. I'm giving this show 5 stars as I would've given the game if it was real. So many tropes, so little time.

This show is for those who love the "One who got away" trope. We got romance, we got comedy, we got mystery, and we got drama! Pretty much a one stop shop of a show. You will enjoy it.

Other people around them include Jung Su-Gyeom and Do Hwa-Seon. Jung Su-Gyeom is a young officer from a prestigious family. He is Yi Beon’s only friend. Do Hwa-Seon is an ambitious woman whose life goal is to marry Yi Beon and become a member of the royal family.
I normally don't do historical Kdramas. I am not well versed in their history so I, personally, feel uncomfortable. I'm not fond of entering unfamiliar scenarios. But this one was a pleasant experience. I read the comic and manhwa this show was based off of and wanted to see how it compares. It is just as good as its original. The trope here is "modern girl in a whole different time period". Who doesn't love a little time travel romance now and then?
As always, feel free to leave me a message below.
