Angst-filled, that is the two words that popped into my head when I think of this series. It is good though. This is set in England during the War of the Roses.

I can't tell how many times I've read this one book over and over. I adored it so much. As it is part of a series, there will be some characters who appear in other books. Despite that, it can be read as a standalone.

Want to go to 1372 Italy and visit some old characters? This is a incomplete sequel series of Rivers of Time. No, I did not start it. It isn't finished yet and I don't do well waiting for the next release of a series I decided to read. I need the next book to be right there at 4:57am so I can sleep knowing I can start it the moment I have time after waking. Is that healthy? No, maybe not. Am I comfortable this way? Yep.
