 1. Abor & Tynna - Baller - Germany - A bouncy pop song that is way too easy to bop to. Super easy to to.slip this into a workout or dance playlist.❤

 2. ADONXS - Kiss Kiss Goodbye - Czechia - Can't wait to see the choreo that the contemporary dancers out there come come up with for this one. It feels epically beautiful. I always want to dance when I hear this song.❤🏆

 3. Emmy - Laika Party - Ireland - Another danceable song. Can totally see this playing in a club or at a party. Sidenote: I also wish that Soviet dog had a better ending.❤

 4. Erika Vikman - Ich Komme - Finland - If you don't see the performance, it's just a pop-rock song with some very catchy bits. The performance for this song makes it just a little bit .....extra. This is a child friendly space so fill in the blanks yourself.

 5. Gabry Ponte - Tutta C'Italia - San Marino - Thank you for finally sending something decent this year. I actually like this song. It's danceable and makes no weird side quests.❤

 6. Go-Jo - Milkshake Man - Australia - I don't like it. I've heard a lot a people love and enjoy his apparently "tongue-in-cheekiness" but this song makes me think about a bad "Stranger Danger" PSA from the 80's. That is the vibe I get. It gives me the ick.

 7. JJ - Wasted Love - Austria - This song is so stunning. I adore it. The high notes, the strings! This song has so much atmosphere.❤🏆

 8. Justyna Steczkowska -Gaja - Poland - Pronounced "Gaia", this song has a tribal feel.

 9. KAJ - Bara Bada Basta - Sweden - It's a fun song about saunas. It is catchy and a bit weird.❤

10. Katarsis - Tavo akys - Lithuania - This is the rock music you would've played in your Grunge/Emo phase. Somehow got stuck on repeat....❤

11. Klavdia - Asteromáta - Greece - Beautiful! She ate and left no crumbs.❤🏆

12. Klemen - How much time do we have left - Slovenia - The performance for this song is understated but gorgeous. This always gets me choked up. It deserves to go far.❤🏆

13. Kyle Alessandro - Lighter - Norway - So danceable! Kyle's vocals fit this song perfectly. Also stuck on repeat.❤🏆

14. Laura Thorn - La Poupée monte le son - Luxembourg - Irritatingly catchy.

15. Louane - Maman - France - I would give this song a standing ovation but I am writing so ......❤🏆

16. Lucio Corsi - Volevo Essere Un Duro - Italy - This is giving me " Beatles " vibes.

17. Mamagama - Run with U - Azerbaijan - If you didn't dance to this song just a little bit, I'm going to question your taste. Very danceable. Another one that is stuck on repeat.❤

18. Mariam Shengelia - Freedom - Georgia - Cinematic feel with a slight old-school style. Beautiful.

19. Marko Bošnjak - Poison Cake - Croatia - A catchy little song about revenge. Note to self : Don't Eat Random Cakes!

20. Melody - Esa Diva - Spain - It is giving "Telanovela Song Remix", the good kind.❤

21. Miriana Conte - Serving - Malta - The first version of this song raised a lot of English speaking eyebrows. Look that up on your own. The second version is just as good though.❤

22. NAPA - Deslocado - Portugal - This song is like a much needed reset. I feel like this one can easily slip into the " Main Character " playlist. I want to listen to this song as I stare at the water or out a plane window.❤🏆

23. Claude - C'est la vie - Netherlands - This song is an earworm in the best way. I want to dance but my knees hurt. 😭❤

24. Nina Size - Dobrodošli - Montenegro - Category: Dark Cinematic. So gorgeous!❤

25. Parg - Survivor - Armenia - Workout playlist for Cardio day. That is where I would put this song.

26. Princ - Mila - Serbia - I don't know why I feel like this should be in some TV Drama. It just fits.

27. Red Sebastian - Strobe Lights - Belgium - Club Song. This song is totally here to party!

28. Remember Monday - What the hell just happened? - United Kingdom - Queen meets Fifth Harmony while dressed in Bridgerton-esq costumes. That's what just happened.🏆

29. Shkodra Elektronike - Zjerm - Albania - I don't know why I like it. I just do. It is a song that is way too easy to find yourself swaying to.❤

30. Sissal - Hallucination - Denmark - Dance Party Ready! It makes you want get up and dance the day's stress away.❤🏆

31. Tautumeitas - But man laimi - Latvia - Don't you want to go adventuring in the wilderness with this song playing in the background? That's how this song makes me feel.

32. Theo Evan - Shh - Cyprus - Another Club Banger. Just dance already.....

33. Tommy Cash - Espresso Macchiato - This corny, wacky song is actually one of my favorites. It is off-the-wall quirky. It's just fun for no reason whatsoever.❤

34. Væb - Róa - Iceland - It's a fun catchy song. So bouncy.

35. Yuval Raphael - New Day Will Rise - Israel - Big Cinema sound. Beautiful.

36. Ziferblat - Bird of Pray - Ukraine - This song almost defies description. You might be able to slip this song into your "Main Character" playlist? I don't know what to say about it. There are parts of this song raised I love more than others. I guess you can say I have mixed feelings about it.

37. Zoë Më - Voyage - Switzerland - Beautiful, Stunning, Entrancing. I adore this song. It makes me tear up and want to dance all at once. By the way, don't do that unless you want to get hurt.❤🏆

Films I want to see this year

 This is just a few of the films I am.looking forward to seeing this year. I am hoping to get around to actually watching it some time this year. I got movie in my TBW list from several years back. I kinda pick and choose what to watch based on my mood.

First up is The Accountant 2. I watched the first one with my Dad so I think I will watch the second one with him as well. It has Ben Affleck, Jon Bernthal, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, and J. K. Simmons all reprising their roles. It has already been released so I'm sure I will watch soon. Maybe.

Nonnas looks like it will be a heartwarming comedy. It has been a while since I saw a trailer that made me go "Aww, this looks fun. I think I will like it".  I think I might remember to watch it. Look, books will always distract me from most other forms of media. So, no judgement okay? I do want to watch Nonnas. 

I saw the trailer for this movie and instantly thought " Yes, I need to see this too!" The Roses is a remake of the 1989 film based off of a 1981 novel. I might have seen the movie on tv at some point but I honestly don't remember. 

Now You See Me: Now You Don't is the the much anticipated third movie in the Now You See Me franchise. I have been waiting for years for this film. I do hope it doesn't flop.

Two other films I am looking forward to don't have trailers yet. They are Wake Up Dead Man and Zootopia 2. Wake Up Dead Man is the third film in the Knives Out Franchise. The movies are a family favorite. We love a good mystery on screen. Zootopia 2 is a film I never expected to come out. I'm eager to see it as I loved the first film. Yes, it is an animated film. So what?

Wifi is down again............

Our Wifi is currently down so I am a day late.😭 Sorry. I don't know how long it will be down so please bear with me. 

 In other news, LB3 decided he should give One Tree Hill a try. He got to a part when a main cast member dies in the series (sorry, not sorry for the mild spoiler) and had a total freakout. He came to those of of who had watched it already and was practically crying. "Why didn't you tell me?" he kept asking us. I couldn't help it and laughed. I told him I was so sorry for him when he started OTH. He just ignored me. 

Any way, he decided to take a break from OTH and watch The O.C. instead. When I told our Mom, she laughed. It's a bit of a frying pan/fire issue. The O.C. will leave you just as traumatized if not more. I think I should prepare him some tissues.

Dreams can be so weird

 I had such a strange dream this morning that made me and my family laugh. In my dream, I was watching the news when a story came on about how the illiteracy rate amongst deer had dropped drastically thanks to the Readmore Foundation's efforts. I was so impressed in my dream.

When I told my mom about it, she busted out laughing. Lb2 laughed and said that car crashes should start decreasing since deer can now read stop signs. The other kids all found it funny too. 

Ever since I was little, I have always had vivid dreams. Some of my story ideas came from my dreams. No, I will not tell you them now. They are still works in progress.

I will tell you a bit of a dream I had on Saturday. In my dream, one of my brothers became friends with two singers of a band I am fond of. I went to their apartment to drop of my sibling when they invited me inside for a drink. I accepted as I was thirsty and I wanted to get their autographs. I got inside and saw the apartment was a pigsty. I went from being a fan to irritated big sister. While the three of them played video games, I wore myself out cleaning the whole place from top to bottom. I was so exhausted by the end that they told me to go rest in one of the rooms as they were planning to play all night. When dream me woke up in the morning, their manager was there freaking out as I got photographed by the paparazzi going in to their apartment but not leaving. I woke up right as they were planning how to do the damage control.

 Today's post will be incredibly short as I am feeling super foggy. I think allergies are trying to knock my mom, LB2 and I out. Honestly, I just want to sleep.

When your Dad is a Trekkie

 This past weekend, my dad asked me for the latest Star Trek series. He recently found a channel that plays all the older Star Trek episodes every single night. He is getting all caught up on the things he missed or can't remember. He has watched all the movies, old and new. It only makes sense that he should watch the newest shows.

Ever since I can remember, my father has watched Star Trek. One of my earliest childhood memories is of my dad raising the tv volume to full blast  as the opening credits played. We (my father, brothers and I) would pretend to conduct the orchestra. After the credits ended, our dad would send us back to the beds we left as it was 11 o'clock at night. No scolding, just "okay, time to go to bed". We would leave and he would go watch his episode. Of course, there were time we didn't need to go to bed when it came on. If a marathon was playing, that channel did not change. It has a hold on him even now. Just last evening, right as he was about to go for his evening walk, he came back in because he was about to miss Star Trek. He wasn't even outside two minutes.

Thanks to that, the younger siblings are getting the same exposure to sci-fi that I got as a kid. They sit down with Dad and watch all the episodes with fresh, eager eyes. I sit in the background, soaking in the nostalgia.

If you could go back in time, what would you do?

 A while ago, I watched two different k dramas. Both had this premise, A woman, wronged in marriage and life, gets a chance to return to the past before her life fell to pieces. Will she make the same mistakes or will she right the wrongs before they happen? They were very addictive.

Perfect Marriage Revenge 

Han Yi-Joo is a painter. She was adopted by Han Jin-Woong and Lee Jung-Hye. Her father runs Hanwool Financial Group. Yet, Han Yi-Joo was not loved by her parents or her younger sister Han Yoo-Ra. She was always isolated from her family. Now, Han Yi-Joo is married to Jung Se-Hyeok. She learns that her husband Jung Se-Hyeok loves her sister Han Yoo-Ra and not her. On that same day, Han Yi-Joo gets into a car accident and dies.

When Han Yi-Joo wakes up, she finds herself back in time when she was engaged to Jung Se-Hyeok. To change her fate and take revenge on her family, she breaks off her engagement to Jung Se-Hyeok. She then approaches Seo Do-Guk, whom her younger sister Han Yoo-Ra wants to marry. Seo Do-Guk is the grandson of the Taeja Group’s founder. He is a smart and handsome young man. Han Yi-Joo wants to enter into a contract marriage with Seo Do-Guk and he willingly accepts, but he wants the contract marriage to become a real marriage.

The OST for this show is phenomenal. The acting on point. The story line was solid. No plot holes come to mind.

I actually remember reading a little bit of the webtoon it was based off of. It was a long time ago but I remembered stopping because they didn't update it often. Finding out what happened in this twisty tale was a relief. Oh yes, this show has a ton of twists and turns you will not expect. Consider yourself warned.

Marry My Husband

Kang Ji-Won is married to Park Min-Hwan. Her marriage life is not going well due to her selfish husband and his demanding mother. Kang Ji-Won is the breadwinner of the family, while her husband Park Min-Hwan is unemployed and in debt. Kang Ji-Won also does all of the housework herself. One day, Kang Ji-Won learns she has cancer and she doesn't have much time left to live. Making things worse, she witnesses her husband and her close friend Jeong Su-Min having an affair. She gets into a physical struggle with the two of them and she is killed by her husband Park Min-Hwan. The next moment, Kang Ji-Won opens her eyes and finds herself in the past, 10 years earlier when she was dating Park Min-Hwan. She decides to change her life by making Jeong Su-Min marry Park Min-Hwan. Meanwhile, Yoo Ji-Hyeok works as a chief in the same department as Kang Ji-Won. He has a crush on her and he slowly reveals his feelings to her. He also has a secret.

This show is one I watched as it aired. I couldn't wait for it to finish so I could binge. The cliffhangers made me regret it. Make sure you have time to binge this show because the need to know what happens next will be strong. 

Ji-Won's glow-up scene is a piece of literal art. The face-slapping is so satisfying. Ji-Hyeok is the perfect Male Lead. Honestly, his character may make you singles daydream a little.
