I will be super brief as a storm is blowing into our area. It has been super stormy at night lately. Thankfully, no tornado sirens have gone off in area but the lightning has been very intense.
LS2 is very scared of lightning, so as a good sister, I let her huddle next to me. Watching her jump each and every time she saw lightning was painful to watch.
I'm ending our post here as we tend to shut off the internet and other big electronics (i.e. tv, computers, ect.) during big storms. It helps to protect them from getting fried in a potential power surge. Surge protectors only do so much you know. They keep the electronics on until you can shut them down properly. If you don't shut down properly, you will fry it. That is their purpose. Sorry for the mini rant. I just heard someone talk about surge protectors like they were an unnecessary thing to have. You are welcome for that life hack, btw.
As always, feel free to leave me a message below.
P.S. I was talking from experience. I once fried a DVD player as it was play my Dad's favorite movie. I wasn't allowed to touch our new one for a whole month. And it took me a few years to get the DVD out as I had gotten it stuck inside.
